Derek has more than 20 years of experience working in Finance, IT, and Real Estate after earning his BS in Finance at George Mason University. He began his career working in the finance industry as an investment banking analyst with a middle market investment banking firm. With extensive experience in Accounting, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations and IT, Derek has held mid-level management positions with several Fortune 500 companies and medium sized corporations. In addition, he has been an owner and operator of several businesses, as a buyer and seller of businesses Derek utilizes this knowledge and experience of economic and market forces when working with his clients. He believes the best way to serve his clients is to listen and understand their goals and aspirations. Derek is committed to helping his clients navigate the complex process of buying and selling a business. He studied for his Master’s in Real Estate Development at Georgetown University. In his free time Derek enjoys working out, reading, mentoring young adults and spending time with his family.
